Bush is pro-life. He ran a campaign against abortions but He’s been president for 8 years, and still women can get abortions….
Am i the only one who think politicians who are pro-life are full of BS? McCain is pro-life but i dont think he’ll end abortion…
What do you guys think? Just another talking point to win an election?

The president can’t just wake up one day and say no one is going to get an abortion. That is why we have a system of checks and balances. The most direct way a president can change laws like these in to nominate judges who will over turn the abortion laws.
It is a position i support…. that being said I don’t believe that roe V wade will ever be overturned.i don’t think that the president could get that done.. I could see it become an individual state issue… that is more likely
Bush is pro life? Please…. tell that to million+ he killed in Iraq over a bunch of lies. Tell that to the middle class he destroyed. Tell that to the millions who lost their houses because of his policies. Tell that to the people of New Orleans. Yeah right pro life, his own.

Because they are strongly opposed to murder. It is actually that simple.
I am not sure where JMc believes. He has made statements both ways once in the same interview. However his spiritual adviser (he said that himself) Parsley is among the strongest fighters against abortion rights. He even said that the government is committing genocide on the black race through abortion.
The only thing that comforts me is that he will not win.
Abortion is a Democratic issue, to not support a Democratic issue is the stance of the Republican Party. Zero Abortions is the platform of the Christan right, that the Republicans add to their Platform in order to enlist the Christan Right’s support.
Most Republicans simply don’t support minors having abortions without parental consent, near birth abortions etc…
I don’t beleive that is the issue that sways their vote.
