Banker :
Is that why Harry Reid is keeping the Senators working over the week-ends? He doesn’t want them to go back home and hear opinions from the People who elected them? Would this be the same as
holding the Senators hostage? or is this along with Reid’s comparison to Slavery and Women’s Rights an indication of the hysteria of the Democrat Party?

It is laughable when Reid cries about the sacrifice they endure because they work a weekend.
This happens quite often when the Senate is trying to get something done. It is hardly the same as holding anyone hostage. Do you really think the senators were going to go home this weekend and listen to constitutents?
There’s e-mail, phones and the postal service. Anyone who wants to tell a senator how he feels can certainly manage it.
The only hysteria I see is coming from the right.
